C-RAY® HH system

The C-RAY® HH is a handheld high pressure cleaning system, designed to clean biofouling from the difficult to get to area between the top of the net and the floating collar on fish cages. Available in different sizes, the device can clean 315-, 400- and 500-mm floating collars.

Sharp biofouling materials such as clams, mussels, and other shells present on floating collars can damage nets and increase the chance of fish escaping. Regular cleaning of this part of the floating collar prevents the growth of potentially harmful biofouling, reducing the risk of holes in the nets and, consequently, a loss of fish.

C-RAY® HH operates at a minimum water pressure of 250 bar and a maximum of 300 bar and with a water flow of 28 liters/minute. The water flow can be adjusted to the specific requirements of individual customers, using alternative nozzle sizes.

When the unit is started, rotating discs will attach to the ring through vacuum. In this way, the unit creates an optimal distance between rotating discs and the floating collar.

During cleaning, the operator moves the unit up and down. As soon as the water pressure stops, the device will no longer create vacuum and can easily be removed from the floating collar.
