C-RAY® HH system

The C-RAY® HH is a handheld high pressure cleaning system, designed to clean biofouling from difficult areas

C-RAY® HH system

The C-RAY® HH is a handheld high pressure cleaning system, designed to clean biofouling from the difficult to get to area between the top of the net and the floating collar on fish cages. Available in different sizes, the device can clean 315-, 400- and 500-mm floating collars.

Sharp biofouling materials such as clams, mussels, and other shells present on floating collars can damage nets and increase the chance of fish escaping. Regular cleaning of this part of the floating collar prevents the growth of potentially harmful biofouling, reducing the risk of holes in the nets and, consequently, a loss of fish.

C-RAY® HH operates at a minimum water pressure of 250 bar and a maximum of 300 bar and with a water flow of 28 liters/minute. The water flow can be adjusted to the specific requirements of individual customers, using alternative nozzle sizes.

When the unit is started, rotating discs will attach to the ring through vacuum. In this way, the unit creates an optimal distance between rotating discs and the floating collar.

During cleaning, the operator moves the unit up and down. As soon as the water pressure stops, the device will no longer create vacuum and can easily be removed from the floating collar.

C-RAY® ROV

C-RAY® ROV, is a patented high-pressure cleaning module,
mounted on a specially designed ROV

C-RAY®

Click on/click off washing modules capable of cleaning all types of submerged infrastructure. Cleaning submerged structures that can be round, curved, or flat. Without the washing module, the ROV can be used as a standard observation ROV for inspection of submerged infrastructure

At fish farms, cleaning of submerged installations is possible with fish present in the cages. This allows for a more appropriate and frequent cleaning cycle.

C-RAY® ROV operates with a water pressure of at least 250 bar and a maximum of 300 bar and with a water flow of 140 liters/ minute. The water flow can be adjusted to specific requirements of individual customers, using alternative nozzle sizes.

Benefits for owners/users.

With frequent cleaning of submerged infrastructure such as floating collars, sinker tubes, mooring ropes, chains and feed barges, the level and speed of biofouling growth on the nets will decrease. The frequency of net cleaning can be brought down, which leads to significant cost savings.

A cleaner marine environment improves fish welfare and reduces the costs related to fish mortality.

Significant cost reduction compared to current cleaning methods. More efficient use of company assets, low operating costs

Better working conditions (ROV pilot), safer operation.
